Hydroleap is a Singapore-based company that develops sustainable water and wastewater treatment using proprietary electrochemical technologies.
Technology
Hydroleap's proprietary technology include their electrocoagulation and electrooxidation solutions. Its electrocoagulation systems are currently deployed in the manufacturing, textile, food & beverage, mining, and palm oil industries, while its electrooxidation systems are used to treat textile effluents, palm oil wastewater, surface water, semiconductor wastewater, and phenolic wastewater.
They also have a specialised electro-oxidation solution for cooling towers.
Traction
Amazon Web Services has piloted Hydroleap's electro-oxidation system for cooling towers for their water recycling system in Singapore. AWS plans to scale this solution across the Asia-Pacific region[1].
Hydroleap's customers also include Singapore' national water agency PUB, real estate group CapitaLand, and Philippine food and beverage (F&B) company Universal Robina[2].

Funding
In 2023, Hydroleap raised US$4.4 million in a Series A fundraise led by Real Tech Holdings[2]. The round was joined by Mitsubishi Electric, Wavemaker Partners, New Keynes Investments, Seeds Capital, and state government of Victoria in Australia.
In July 2025, the startup raised an additional $US 4.75 million from EDBi, Antares Ventures, and Woh Hup,bringing their total funding to date to nearly US$12 million[6].
