Our Purpose
The Deep Tech Wiki exists to collect, map, and share knowlege about the global Deep Tech ecosystem.
Our belief is that this work is essential to equitable and effective progress towards solving the world's most significant scientific and engineering challenges.
Why a Wiki?
Wikipedia has proven that wikis are a scalable way to build a high-quality encyclopedic knowledge base that can be effectively shared, for free, as a common good. The Deep Tech Wiki strives to emulate that model to build a trusted and networked knowledge repository.
In adopting this model, the administrative team serves two sets of "customers": readers and contributors. Each and every contributor is deeply valued by the administrative team and our primary focus will always be to support those who invest their time, insight, and expertise to build this shared resource and to support the Deep Tech community.
What this is not
This project is not meant to be a:
- Advertisting or marketing platform
- Listing or directory
Information on this wiki should be both accurate and useful, such that any connection fostered through this repository is meaningful and productive.
