The reason for this position is simple: '''LLMs virtually always fail to properly source claims and often introduce errors'''. This is incompatible with the Deep Tech Wiki's [[Project purpose|purpose]] of providing verified ecosystem information and trusted industry knowledge. 

While we recognise that LLMs are integral to some Deep Tech solutions, they lack the reliability necessary for the standards of trust and verification required for this wiki.

Where AI content is suspected, the following measures may be taken:

* Users who show high tendency to use AI-generated content may be monitored and/or restricted from making further contributions

==Exception==
This wiki hosts content that is verified, properly sourced, and compliant with the its' style guides and editorial guidelines. Any contribution meeting these high standards, AI-generated or not, will be accepted.
